We discuss how powerful it is to have someone in your corner that is loyal to you. Jared shared two stories of loyalty; one Japanese soldier Hiroo Onoda who continued to survive and fight in the jungles of the Philippines from WWII in 1945 to 1974 and only surrendered when his commanding officer came to relieve him of his post. Jared also shared the story of the legendary Black Knight of Poland who is known for his loyalty and honesty even after 600 years since his passing. Ethan shares a contradicting story of betrayal of Julius Caesar by Brutus. We then discuss loyalty and how in some cases it can be taken advantage of by those who do not reciprocate that loyalty.

#120-Federal Law Enforcement Agency failures- ATF disaster stories
Wednesday Jan 18, 2023
Wednesday Jan 18, 2023
On this episode of A Brothers' Creed Podcast we talk about the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) and 2 of the major scandals they have had over the years. We first give an overview of what the ATF is and what their function is. We then summarize two major scandals that occurred with the ATF back in the early 1990s. These events were the Ruby Ridge Idaho incident, and the WACO Texas disaster/massacre of the Branch Davidians. These two events not only involved the ATF but also the FBI, Federal Marshals, and other federal law enforcement agencies. Every American must know what happened at these locations and what kind of power these agencies are allowed to have. Ethan and Jared discuss these events alongside current Twitter File drops/revelations to set a picture of the history and current state of governmental overreach. As men of principle it is our responsibility to push back against these overreaches and erosions of our freedoms.

#116 -The Virtue of Kindness- not just a Christmas time virtue
Wednesday Dec 21, 2022
Wednesday Dec 21, 2022
On this Episode of A Brothers' Creed Podcast we break down the virtue of kindness. Especially during this holiday season, cheer and giving are in the air. Happiness and a lighter feeling seem to be all around. This is a great opportunity to develop kindness. Kindness is the deliberate consideration to help others. The opposite of kindness is cruelty which is the willingness to cause harm or suffering to others. There are seeming pros and cons to being kind. It can improve our mental and physical health, build stronger relationships, and even lead to professional success. On the contrary, if we are constantly sacrificing our own needs and wants for others, we may not be able to take care of ourselves properly, leading to negative consequences for our own well-being. Join us as we learn how to implement kindness into our own lives and we build our creeds together.
