#30- Confidence vs Arrogance - Know the difference to show the difference
Wednesday Apr 28, 2021
Wednesday Apr 28, 2021
On this episode of A Brothers Creed Podcast we speak about the benefits of being confident and the harm it can have when taken to the point of arrogance. Sometimes too much of a good thing can lead to something harmful. We define, discuss and give examples of both of these traits. From the confidence of having knowledge to Hitler's arrogance in war, we find the line or the balance between the two. We speak through some tactics to become more confident and how to not come across as arrogant. Sometimes we do not notice that we are being arrogant but in this episode we talk about how to identify it and fix it. Come along with us as we build our Creeds and act more confidently.
Quotes from the Brothers:
“Confidence is the building block for progression. You do not have to know everything but be willing to learn and become great. Never be ashamed of your weaknesses but be hopeful and optimistic in your ability to learn and achieve”
- Ethan Thomas
"Walking the thin line of arrogance and confidence can carefully be done by leaning upon the Lord in humility and faith. If we trust in the lord and are honest with ourselves we will avoid the sin of pride that transforms confidence into arrogance."
- Jared Thomas
