Often the state of our homes is a reflection of our inner self, if you are living in clutter, disorganization, or in a unmaintained area it is likely the state of your mind as well. On this episode of A Brothers' Creed Podcast we interview Bryce Wade who is a member of the Freemasons. Bryce has been a Freemason for 16 years and has earned the title of Master Mason. Bryce shares with us how he got started with the masons and how the example of several of our founding fathers was very impactful in this decision. Bryce walks us through what it is like to join and participate in a local Masonic Lodge. As a Freemason Bryce has made promises he holds dear, these promises and commitments make him a better citizen, father, and community member. We talk about how impactful this community and commitment can be on someone, especially someone like our grandfather who has been an active Mason for a large part of his life. On this episode of A Brothers Creed Podcast we chat with Matt Domyancic who is a retired Police officer, former SWAT member, police academy instructor, collegiate strength coach trainer, and Chaplin. Matt works primarily with first responders to help them deal with the stresses of their occupation and deal with some of the trauma they may face. This is the second part of our conversation from last week and we talk specifically about Masculinity. Matt shares with us the importance of fatherhood and male leadership in our society. He talks about the father wound and how only 17% of men say they have a positive relationship with their fathers. We need to up that Stat! Listening to some of his thoughts on what a father should be and how he can model positive masculine traits for his son is something we all need.

He tells about the infamous Porter Rockwell and the role he played as a wild west Lawman and protector of leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. Ethan shares stories of the first black deputy Marshal west of the Mississippi River, Bass Reeves, aka the real Lone Ranger. Reeves was a legendary Law man and arrested over 3,000 felons in the wild west frontier. Ethan also shares stories of extraterrestrial encounters amongst the inhabitants of the west as well. On this episode of A Brothers Creed Podcast we are joined by Taren Gesell. Triathlon Taren wasn’t always the Speedo-clad, All-World Ironman triathlete, and IRONMAN U Certified Coach and ISSA Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition you see today. He hit his all-time high weight of 215lbs thanks to a steady diet of beer and bacon. At 5’8” tall, he was unhealthy and unhappy. Taren entered his first triathlon (Try-a-Tri) cought the bug. He enbrased a life change that included both physical and mental growth. Taren now preached his MOTTIV method for healthy training of both body and mind to become the best endurance athlete you can be.
Taren also shares with us some of the lesser known secrets of what happens to some people during some triathlons and endurance racing. Join us as we learn more about endurance training and competing with someone who has been there and done it!
