On this episode of A Brothers' Creed we talk about some of favorite prison break stories. Surprisingly there are hundreds if not thousands of recorded accounts of people breaking out of prison. Ethan Starts out by walking through the infamous case of Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers who escaped from Alcatraz also known as "The Rock". Many people tried to escape The Rock and all failed except Frank. Through tricks, a makeshift raft and lots of digging they escaped and were never found or heard from again. Dead or alive.... no one knows. Jared then shares the wild story of El Chapo and his many run-ins with the police. With his affinity for tunnels, he was able to escape several times until the Americans finally got him into the US. Join us and enjoy as we talk through these stories and more crazy escape attempts.

On this week of A Brothers’ Creed Podcast we talk about how to remain calm in stressful situations. We cover how to deal with stressful situations from anything like having to give a presentation at work, dealing with crying children, to being in an emergency. Ethan talks about how thinking through a situation to properly assets next steps can be critical in a stressful situation. We can sometimes train ourselves to respond in the correct way through preparation and practice ahead of certain situations to make the reaction second nature. Jared shares the story of the cave diver who was rescuing the soccer team who was famously trapped deep within a cave system. The moment he lost his guide line and was swimming blind was surely full of terror. Jared also shares one of his favorite clips from a movie about managing fear and chaos in a stressful environment.

Ethan gives a great overview of what mass hysteria is and some interesting examples from modern history and times long past. From a convent of Nuns who can’t stop meowing to kids within a school mysteriously coming down with what was believed to be Tourette syndrome, the examples of mass hysteria of interesting to say the least. Jared then dives into the history of perhaps one of the most well-known cases of mass hysteria that took place in the Salem witch trials. Ethan shares in depth his path to completing his first triathlon. How he trained, prep, and a play by play of race day and coming across that finish line. Jared talks about his exploration into Brazilian Jujitsu and how he has progressed in his learning. He also talks about his weight routine and how strength training has played a large role in his fitness journey.

Nick talks with us about a variety of legal considerations and strategies used by people to plan for their estate and end of life affairs. Nick walks us through some of the nuances of Probate and what you might encounter should you only have a will describing your final wishes. We then chat about how some legal structures can be set up, like a trust, to avoid probate court and other hassles after a death. While Nick is not giving any specific legal advice, he does a great job of reviewing how the system works and ways you should consider structuring your assets.

On this episode of A Brothers' Creed podcast, we talk UFOs (unidentified flying objects). We discuss the legitimate reports and finding released by the Pentagon. As part of congressional legislation and freedom of information act requests, we have received over 3000 pages of documentation about UFOs and other out of this world finding. Ethan starts out by sharing some experiences from past US Presidents relating to UFOs. From Trump to Regan, they all had their thoughts on aliens... Are they telling the truth? And could they even if they wanted to? Jared then reviews the bizarre human effects of close contact with UFOS that have been recorded over many years. Finally they discuss some additional government research that recently came out from a FOIA request. On this episode of A Brothers’ Creed Podcast we talk about little known wars in history that you might not be aware of. These wars in some cases lasted only days while others lasted 50+ years. Ethan starts out by sharing the story of the War of Zanzibar, this battle was a result of a local leaders pushing back against the British puppet president they planned to install after the death of a former puppet president. Jared then shares details about the 50 years long Comanche Mexican war that took place here in the American continent. This brutal war decimated the Northern Mexico area for many years as the Comanche horse raiders acted like Vikings here in the Americas. At one point a bounty of 100 pesos per Comanche scalp was offered by the government. Ethan and Jared also share other interesting small-time wars that in some cases have a ridiculous root cause. If we don't learn from history we are bound to repeat it.

On this episode of A Brothers' Creed Podcast we speak with retired Police Officer Chad Webster. Chad speaks with us about his almost 20 years of experience as a police officer. He shares with us some of his favorite moments as well as some of the hardest times. First responders are exposed to trauma almost daily and many times it is not addressed as it should be. As tensions increased with riots in 2020 Chad spent a lot of time on the riot lines being assaulted in different ways by violent protesters. This trauma caused him to suffer mentally and that injury effected his entire life. He opens up about mental illness and overcoming trauma. Through his journey Chad explains the ups and downs of recovery for himself and his family. Join us as we learn how each of us can better cope with trials and difficult trauma in our life.
